Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play any quiz in Explore without signing up — we'll save your streak locally. An account just syncs your streak across devices and unlocks AI authoring.
How does the spaced repetition actually work?
We use a modified SM-2 algorithm. Each card has its own "memory state" based on your history with it. Miss it, and it reappears soon. Nail it three times running, and you won't see it for two weeks.
Can I use my own questions?
Yes — paste them, import a CSV, drop a PDF, or use AI authoring on any source. You own your content.
What if I miss a day?
You have a streak shield active by default. One missed day a week is automatically forgiven. Two in a row resets — but the spaced-rep schedule keeps going either way.
How big can a squad room get?
Free rooms cap at 50 live players. Pro and Classroom go up to 200. No app downloads required for any guest.
Does any of this work offline?
The mobile app caches your saved quizzes and your spaced-rep queue. You can play offline; your streak and stats sync the next time you open it.
